Abstract:

Mergers and acquisitions are the main causes of globalization and rapid growth of the world economy today. Thesis focuses on main stages of M&A transactions, trying to explain the ways of its implementation and assessment. The paper gives a theoretical explanation of M&A features and focuses in specific case for the purpose of practical analysis and identification of synergies gained after the transaction. This work includes both short-term and long-term analysis in order to investigate the reaction of market and shareholders.
