Composting as a way of handling biologically decomposable waste

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Kompostování jako způsob nakládání s biologicky rozložitelnými odpady“ má za cíl popsat problematiku biologicky rozložitelných odpadů, jejich základních pojmů , platných právních předpisů a v neposlední řadě se také zabývá statistickými údaji za období 2005-2016. Dále uvádí stručný přehled možných způsobů nakládání s biologicky rozložitelným odpadem. Jeden z těchto způsobů a to kompostování dále charakterizovat a popsat na příkladu z praxe.Byla vybrána kompostárna s roční kapacitou 5000 Mg, která vznikla v roce 2005 v areálu zemědělské farmy. Kompostárna je založena na technologii kompostování na volné ploše v bývalých silážních a senážních žlabech. Výstupní rekultivační kompost, z této kompostárny, byl testován v laboratoři testem Phytotoxkit. Výsledky měření fytotoxicity a poznatky z praxe byly zahrnuty do závěrečné části této bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis "Composting as a way of handling biologically decomposable waste" describes the issue of biologically decomposable waste, its basic concepts, valid legal regulations, and last but not least also deals with statistical data for the period 2005-2016. It further provides a brief overview of possible ways of dealing with biowaste. One of these ways, composting, is further characterized and described from a practical example.For analysis a composting plant was selected with an annual capacity of 5000 Mg, which was formed in 2005 on the premises of an agricultural farm. The composting plant is based on the technology of open air composting in former silage and hay troughs. Output compost for reclamation from this composting plant was tested in the laboratory with a test Phytotoxkit. The results of the measurements of phytotoxicity and information from the practical example have been included in the final part of this bachelor thesis.
