This thesis deals with cytokinin signaling pathway, mechanism of signal transduction and their role in plants. Attention has been also drawn on the effect of alternative splicing on components cytokinin pathways and also on the role of alternative splicing in general. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o cytokininové signální dráze, mechanismu přenosu signálu a úloze cytokininů v rostlinách. Pozornost byla také věnována efektu alternativního sestřihu na komponenty cytokininové dráhy, ale i roli alternativního sestřihu obecně.
