Abstract:
This thesis deals with a selected part of epistolary novel Pamela; or, Virtue rewarded written by Samuel Richardson on three main layers. One of its aims is to analyse the source text as a whole with a particular focus on details included in the selected letters. Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá vybranými dopisy z románu Samuela Richardsona: Pamela; or, Virtue rewarded na třech úrovních. Jedním z cílů práce je analyzovat výchozí text jako celek a detailněji se zaměřit na vybrané dopisy. Centrální částí celé práce je navrhovaný překlad daných osmi dopisů. Závěrečná kapitola se věnuje komentáři překladu a můžeme v ní nalézt příklady uplatněných strategií překladu.
