Receivables Management in the Company XY

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou řízení pohledávek ve firmě XY. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny poznatky z odborné literatury týkající se vzniku pohledávek, ocenění pohledávek, právní úpravy či rozdělení pohledávek. V kapitole řízení pohledávek jsou charakterizovány zajišťovací prostředky jako například smluvní záloha, dokumentární akreditiv, smluvní pokuta či směnka a pozornost bude věnována také faktoringu. Poslední bod teoretické části se bude zabývat možnostmi vymáhání pohledávek. V druhé, praktické, části, je představena firma XY a je popsán její systém řízení pohledávek. Následuje analýza odběratelů, pohledávek a zhodnocení systému řízení pohledávek. Na základě zjištěných výsledků je navrženo možné řešení pro zefektivnění stávajícího systému řízení pohledávek.

Abstract:

In my Bachelor thesis I deal with the topic of Receivables management in the company XY. The mission of the theoretical part clarifies the basic definitions such as formations of receivables, evaluation of receivables, legal adjustment or division of receivables. Under the terms of receivables management, following technical terms are mentioned: deposit contract, letter of credit, contractual fine and lastly premissory note. This part also provides information regarding factoring. In the practical part, an introduction of the company and the system of receivables management are described. After the introduction chapter, next part displays the analyses of consumers, receivables and an evaluation of the system of receivables management. In the conclusion, based on ascertained results, a proposal for possibility of efficiency improvements of the current system of receivables management is suggested.
