The role of the manager in motivating and leading people

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nazvaná Úloha manažera při motivaci a vedení lidí se zaměřuje na přiblížení tématu motivace z teoretického i praktického pohledu. V teoretické části budou čtenáři seznámeni s hlavními představiteli, Maslowem a Herzbergem, kteří se zabývali zkoumáním lidských potřeb a způsoby motivace lidí. Podrobně jsou popsány výzkumné metody a teorie, které zastávali. Dalším teoretickým poznatkem je popsána funkce vedení lidí. V souvislostech s vedením lidí jsou popsány čtyři základní typy osob, s kterými se lze setkat. Aby bylo možné jednotlivé typy osob identifikovat, budou čtenáři seznámeni s jejich charakteristickými rysy a způsoby jednání. V praktické části je věnována pozornost nejen tvorbě motivačních plánů, ale především sledování způsobu využívání motivačních prvků vybraných společností. Zabývá se především porovnáním dotazníků spokojenosti dvou firem. Posuzuje vhodnost zvolených nástrojů, strukturu, formální náležitosti a přehlednost dotazníků spokojenosti. Na závěr je provedeno vzájemné zhodnocení dotazníků spokojenosti obou firem a jsou navrhnuty způsoby na případná zlepšení.

Abstract:

The thesis, entitled The role of the manager's motivation and leadership approach focuses on the topic of motivation from the theoretical and practical point of view. The reader will be familiar with the main representatives in the theoretical part, Maslow and Herzberg, who were engaged in exploration of human needs and ways of motivating people. The research methods and theories, they espoused, are described in detail. Another observation is described by a theoretical function leadership. In connection with the management people are described four basic types of people with whom you can meet. In order to identify the different types of people, readers will be familiar with their characteristics and behavior. The practical part is devoted to not only create incentive schemes, but also follow up the use of motivational elements selected companies. It mainly deals with satisfaction questionnaires comparing two companies. It assesses the suitability of selected tools, structure, formality and clarity satisfaction questionnaires. At the end, an evaluation questionnaire mutual satisfaction of both companies and ways for possible improvement are designed.
