Islam and politics in Eritrea
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá změnami postoje eritrejské muslimské společnosti vůči politickému dění v Eritreji. Cílem práce je poukázat na to, jak se v průběhu jednotlivých etap eritrejských dějin toto stanovisko muslimů měnilo v závislosti na jejich vzrůstající touze po osamostatnění, až nakonec vyústilo ve válku za nezávislost.
Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with changing attitude of Eritrean Muslim society towards political events in Eritrea. The objective of this thesis is to point out how was the Muslim standpoint changing during particular periods of Eritrean history depending on their increasing desire for independence and finally resulted in the war of independence.
