OPC server for general serial communication

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vytvořením obecného OPC serveru, tvorbou aplikace pro jeho konfiguraci, implementací komunikace na protokolu MODBUS a tvorbou SCADA/HMI aplikace. OPC server je vyvíjen v programovacím jazyku C++ a konfigurační aplikace v jazyku Visual basic. Vizualizace je vytvářena v aplikaci WinCC od společnosti Siemens. Na začátku práce je seznámení s Technologií OPC a uvedení do problematiky sériové komunikace. Následuje realizace OPC serveru, implementace čtení a zápisu dat a vývoj konfigurační aplikace. V poslední části je popsán vývoj vizualizace a zhodnoceny výsledky

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with creation of a general OPC server, application for configuration, implementation of the MODBUS communication and creation of SCADA / HMI applications. The OPC server is developed in C++ and configuration applications in Visual Basic. Visualization application is created in the WinCC from Siemens. At the beginning of the thesis is an introduction to OPC technology and introductions to serial communications. The implementation of the OPC server, implementation of reading and writing data and development of configuration applications follows. The last part describes the development of visualization application and summary of results.
