Abstract:
Práce se věnuje vlivům ekonomické nejistoty na rozhodování o pořízení si dětí. Ke zjištění vztahu byla použita regresní analýza nevyvážených panelových dat 27 evropských zemí s maximální délkou časové řady 52 let. Pro nejistotu byly použity proxy proměnné reálný HDP na hlavu, nezaměstnanost a jejich volatility. Volatility byly zkonstruovány s pomocí GARCH a EGARCH modelů. Byl zjištěn negativní vliv …more
Abstract:
This paper focuses on effects of economic uncertainty on decision making about childbearing. We had used a regression analysis of unbalanced panel dataset of 27 european countries with maximal lenght of time series of 52 years to determine relationship between fertility and uncertainty.
