Advantages and disadvantages of the Czech Republic's accession to EMU

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma: „Výhody a nevýhody vstupu ČR do EMU“. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jaké reálné výhody a nevýhody by byly spojeny se vstupem České republiky do eurozóny a na základě komparativní analýzy se Slovenskou republikou navrhnout doporučení týkající se zavedení eura. Tato bakalářská práce se skládá z teoretické části, analytické části a návrhové části. Teoretická část zkoumá historii zavedení hospodářské a měnové unie a regulační rámec členských států Evropské unie. Analytická část hodnotí plnění kritérií pro vstup zemí do EMU Českou republikou a jejich dodržování Slovenskou republikou. V poslední části bakalářské práce jsou předloženy návrhy a doporučení pro přijetí eura na území České republiky a předpokládaný vliv na sektor hotelnictví. Ke zpracování bakalářské práce budou použity metody analýzy, deskripce, syntézy a komparace.

Abstract:

This bachelor's dissertation focuses on the topic: "Advantages and disadvantages of the Czech Republic’s accession to EMU". The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out what real advantages and disadvantages would be associated with the entry of the Czech Republic into the eurozone and based on a comparative analysis with the Slovak Republic, to propose recommendations regarding the introduction of the euro. This bachelor's dissertation consists of a theoretical part, an analytical part and a proposal part. The theoretical part examines the history of the introduction of the economic and monetary union and the regulatory framework of the member states of the European Union. The analytical part evaluates the fulfillment of the criteria for the entry of countries into the EMU by the Czech Republic and their observance by the Slovak Republic. In the last part of the bachelor thesis, proposals and recommendations for the adoption of the euro in the territory of the Czech Republic and the expected effect on the hotel sector are presented. The methods of analysis, description, synthesis and comparison will be used to prepare the bachelor thesis.
