Geography of beer - regionalization of restaurants according to draft beer offer in the region of Klatovy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nabídkou piva v restauračních zařízeních na území Klatovska. Cílem práce je z mapovat prostorové rozšíření jednotlivých druhů piv a jejich cenovou politiku napříč regionem. Práce je rozdělena do několika kapitol, nejprve jsou stanoveny cíle a metody, kterými bude cílů dosaženo a základní literatura. Následující kapitola obsahuje definici základních pojmů. Tato část informuje o právech, které v historii sloužili k vaření piva, suroviny pro výrobu piva, jeho klasifikace v terciárním sektoru, a kategorizaci restauračních zařízení. V analytické části je charakterizován region, historie vaření piva v Klatovech a stručná historie regionálních pivovarů. Hlavní část této práce se vztahuje ke koncentraci vybraných typů piv v restauračních zařízeních, jejich cenám, dále se zabývá důvody, pro které si dané zařízení vybralo konkrétní pivovar a jaké jim pivovar poskytuje zpětné služby.

Abstract:

Topic of this undergraduate thesis is the list of biers which are offered to costumers by restaurants around the region Klatovy. Main goal is to map and discuss the pricing policy of each restaurant. The work itself is divided into several chapters. Firstly, the goals and methods and the list of literatures are clearly stated. The second chapter includes definition of basic terms, furthermore the history of bier making and the historical rights of cities to produce their own bier. General ingredients which are used in brewing and classification of bier as a part of third social sector and categorization of the chosen restaurants are also themes of this chapter. In analytical part of my undergraduate thesis my focus is on the history of brewing in Klatovy and on the brief history of regional breweries. The chief part of this work is focused on the concentration of diverse types of biers through the restaurants, their pricing and on the reasons behind the final choice of the bier type as well as on the services which each brewery can offer back to the restaurateur.
