Reintegration of persons after discharge from specialized institutions

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zaměřil na problematiku osob propuštěných z ústavních zařízení (vězení, ústavní ochranné léčení) na svobodu. Smyslem práce bylo podat ucelený pohled na reintegrační proces osob dlouhodobě nedobrovolně izolovaných. V úvodních kapitolách se věnuji obecným otázkám, které podmiňují vnímání trestaných osob společností a tím i jejich šanci na možné opětovné začlenění. Další částí se pak zabývám přímé resocializační a výchovné činnosti v rámci jednotlivých typů ústavních zařízení a přípravě institucionalizovaných osob na propuštění. Zmiňuji zde i postpenitenciární péči a její reintegrační činnosti směřující ke zvládání návratu na svobodu. Prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu je čtenáři umožněn pohled očima odsouzených na jejich pobyt v ústavním zařízení a na jejich problémy související se znovuzačleněním do společnosti po propuštění na svobodu. Z výsledku výzkumu plyne, že snaha o resocializaci delikventů je společenskou nutností a že i přes jejich negativní přístup k ní může mít pozitivní vliv na jejich reintegraci.

Abstract:

In my graduation theses I targeted the questions of persons discharged from special intitutions ( prison, inpatient treatment ). The purport of my work was to survey a comprehensive view of a reintegrative process of long-term separated persons. In the introducing chapters there are mentioned general problems which condition the accepting of prisoners by society thereby their chance for a possible reintegration. The following part is concerned with right resocialization and education within the framework of particular types of special institutions and a preparation of detented persons for discharging. I also mention postpenitentiary care and its reintegral activities helping the parolees to cope with their return to common life. By the qualitative research a reader can look at stays in a special intitutions from the offendes point of view and their problems connected with reintegration in society after their discharging. It results from the research that it is a social necessity to resocialize offenders and despite of their negative approach it can positively affect their reintegration.
