Abstract:

Tématem předložené diplomové práce je analýza kulturního prostředí a možnosti strategického plánování rozvoje kultury ve městě Jihlava. Jihlava jako krajské město a zároveň největší město Kraje Vysočina je přirozeným centrem Vysočiny. Úvodní dvě kapitoly představují město, jeho demografickou strukturu a historii. Kapitola o historii města zahrnuje také podkapitolu speciálně věnovanou nejvýznamnější jihlavské osobnosti Gustavovi Mahlerovi, k jehož odkazu se v Jihlavě hrdě hlásí (Hudba tisíců – Mahler Jihlava, Filharmonie Gustava Mahlera, Dům Gustava Mahlera etc.). Třetí kapitola se věnuje cestovnímu ruchu v Jihlavě i v Kraji Vysočina. Další část podrobně analyzuje kulturní prostředí Jihlavy. Zabývá se třemi kulturními organizacemi, jejichž zřizovatelem je Kraj Vysočina, příspěvkovými organizacemi statutárního města Jihlavy a ostatními kulturními subjekty. Analýza kulturního prostředí se zaměřuje také na nejvýznamnější či nejzajímavější jihlavské festivaly. Součástí práce je také analýza financování kultury ve městě i v kraji (Kraj Vysočina je zřizovatelem největších kulturních subjektů ve městě), která se zabývá otázkou podpory kulturních organizací. Závěry vyplývající z analytické části jsou následně shrnuty ve SWOT analýze, která je inspirována několika strategickými dokumenty Jihlavy, zejména Strategickým plánem rozvoje statutárního města Jihlavy do roku 2020. V závěru práce jsou výsledky a doporučení Strategického plánu rozvoje statutárního města Jihlavy do roku 2020 zhodnoceny a přidány další návrhy strategického plánování na základě předchozích analýz.

Abstract:

The topic of the presented thesis is the analysis of the cultural environment and the possibilities of strategic planning for the development of culture in Jihlava. Jihlava as the county town and the biggest city of Region Vysocina is the natural center of Vysocina. The introductory two chapters present the city, his demographic structure and history. The chapter about history concludes the subchapter specially devoted to the most significant Jihlava's personality Gustav Mahler. Jihlava is proudly avowed his legacy (The Music of Thousands – Mahler Jihlava, Philharmonic Gustav Mahler, House of Gustav Mahler etc.). The third chapter devotes a tourism in Jihlava and Region Vysocina. Next part analyses the culture environment of Jihlava in detail. It concerns three cultural organisations which fonder is Region Vysocina, contributory organisations of the city Jihlava and other cultural entities. The analysis of the cultural environment aims to the most significant or the most interesting Jihlava's festivals. A part of the work is also analysis of cultural funding in the town and in Region (the Region Vysocina is a founder of the biggest cultural entities in the town) which concerns the issue of a support of cultural organisations. The conclusions resulting from the analytic part are then summarized in SWOT analysis which is inspired several strategic documents of Jihlava especially Strategic development plan for the city Jihlava to 2020. In conclusion results and recommendations of the Strategic development plan for the city Jihlava to 2020 are evaluated and added other proposals of the strategic planning based on previous analyses.
