Integration projetcs for immigrants in Brno

Abstract:

Tématem předložené bakalářské práce jsou projekty na podporu integrace migrantů, které byly realizovány v Brně v roce 2011. Práce představuje aktéry integrace na jednotlivých prostorových úrovních (nadnárodní, národní, regionální, lokální) a jmenuje příslušné klíčové strategické a koncepční dokumenty. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část empirickou. Teoretická část se věnuje konceptu integrace, kterou chápe jako multidimenzionální a víceúrovňový proces, který působí vzájemně na cizince i majoritní společnost. V empirické části, která navazuje na část teoretickou, jsou projekty analyzovány a klasifikovány podle pěti kritérií: dimenze integrace (strukturální, kulturní, interaktivní a identifikační), cílová skupina cizinců, realizátor projektu, zdroje financování a délka projektu (krátkodobý, střednědobý a dlouhodobý). Cílem práce je především nabídnout perspektivu, jakou je možno na projekty nahlížet a klasifikovat je. Hlavními použitými metodami při zpracování práce studium dokumentů a jejich analýza. Práce mapuje oblasti, které jmenované projekty pokrývají a případně upozorňuje na ty, které jsou pokryty pouze okrajově. U každého kritéria dále zmiňuje hlavní komplikace, které klasifikaci doprovázely.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with projects that were implemented in Brno during the year 2011. It presents the main agents of integration on the particular spacial levels (supranational, national, regional, local) and mentions corresponding key strategic and conceptual documents. This thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and the empirical one. The first one deals with the concept of integration, that is understood as a multidimensional and multi-level process that influences mutually on both migrants and major society. The projects are then analysed in the empirical part and classified according to five criteria: dimension of integration (structural, cultural, interactive and identification), target group of migrants, implementor of the project, financial sources and the lenght of project (short-term, medium-term and long-term). The aim of the presented thesis is primarily to offer the way the projects could be seen and classified. The main methods employed while working out the thesis are study and analysis of documents. The thesis looks at the fields covered by the projects and draws attention to those of them that are marginally covered. It mentions the main problematic points connected with every classification.
