Abstract:

Reforma Rady bezpečnosti OSN je dlouhodobě diskutovaným tématem. Tato práce se zabývá otázkou reformy Rady bezpečnosti do širšího kontextu. Za prvé, ukazuje vliv Rady bezpečnosti na globální vládnutí. Za druhé, nalézá a odhaluje problémy i s důvody zapříčiňující volání po reformě Rady bezpečnosti. Za třetí, analyzuje, jaké hlavní možnosti jsou v současnosti k dispozici pro odstranění těchto problémů a důvodů. Za čtvrté, dále analyzuje a objasňuje, proč tyto návrhy nebylo možno prosadit. A v neposlední řadě za páté, na základě těchto informací, navrhuje a prezentuje možné řešení.

Abstract:

Reform of the United Nations Security Council is long and still-ongoing discussed topic. This bachelor thesis is dealing with the question of reform of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) in a broader context. Firstly, this thesis shows an UN Security Council’s influence on a global governance, Secondly, this thesis finds and uncover issues and their origins which are the cause of calls for UNSC reform. Thirdly, it analyses the main contemporary solutions to remedy these issues and their origins. Fourthly, this paper analyses and clarifies, why these contemporary solutions could not have been enacted. Fifthly, this bachelor thesis presents a possible solution based on a research carried out in the thesis.
