Changes in leisure activities for lower-secondary school children during the pandemic

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na problematiku volného času dětí druhého stupně základních škol během pandemie v letech 2020 a 2021. V teoretické části je představena situace pandemie, a kvůli ní vznikající komplikace, spojené s trávením volného času. Další kapitola je věnována tématu volného času ohledně toho, jaké jsou jeho základní funkce, především ty, které nemohly být vlivem pandemie naplněny, jak děti uvedeného věku tráví volný čas a naopak jaká jsou rizika při nesprávně nebo nekvalitně využívaném volném čase. Práce se zabývá taktéž institucemi, které poskytují možnosti k trávení volného času dětí, a to z toho důvodu, jelikož bylo analyzováno, jak jejich fungování během pandemie probíhalo. Praktická část se zabývá charakteristikou dotazovaných volnočasových organizací, žáků a vybraných škol, ze kterých byli žáci vybráni. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření bylo zjištěno, jak se pandemie podepsala na volném čase dětí, a prostřednictvím rozhovorů, jaký postoj ve svém fungování zaujaly v této nelehké situaci volnočasové organizace.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the issue of leisure time of secondary school children during a pandemic. The theoretical part presents the situation of the pandemic and the complications associated with spending free time. The next chapter is devoted to the topic of leisure time about its basic functions, especially those that could not be fulfilled due to the pandemic, how children of this age spend their free time and, conversely, what are the risks of incorrect or poorly used free time. The work also deals with institutions that provide opportunities for children to spend their free time, because it was analyzed how their functioning during the pandemic. In the practical part I deal with the characteristics of the interviewed leisure organizations, pupils and selected schools from which the pupils were selected. Using a questionnaire, it was found out how the pandemic affected the children's leisure time and by asking what attitude the leisure organizations took in their difficult situation in this difficult situation.
