Management of Receivables

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou řízení pohledávek. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem pohledávka, vznik, ocenění a zánik pohledávek. Dále je poskytnut ucelený přehled o řízení pohledávek. Jde především o prevenci, monitoring a vymáhání pohledávek. Prevence zahrnuje jednotlivé procesy - od analýzy zákazníků, stanovení obchodních podmínek po zajišťující instrumenty. Monitoring zahrnuje analýzu pohledávek, což představuje strukturu pohledávek a stanovení doby obratu pohledávek. V konečné fázi je přehled možností, jakým způsobem lze problematické pohledávky vymáhat. Praktická část obsahuje přehled jednotlivých činností spojených s řízením pohledávek ve firmě KAJGR – prodej pneu. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí efektivity řízení pohledávek ve firmě KAJGR – prodej pneu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the receivables issues. In the theoretical part there is defined the term of an asset, the creation, valuation and liquidation of receivables. Furthermore there is provided a comprehensive overview of receivables management. Mainly it's all about prevention, monitoring and debt collection. Prevention includes individual processes - from customer analyses, setting terms and conditions for providing instruments. Monitoring includes an analysis of receivables, which represents the structure of receivables and determination of the turnover of receivables. In the final stage there is an overview of the possibilities how to enforce the problematic claims. The practical part contains an overview of the activities associated with the management of receivables in KAJGR - Tires Sale Company. The conclusion summarizes the effectiveness of receivables management in the company in KAJGR - Tires Sale Company.
