Abstract:

Vondrová, K. Dopady aktuálních opatření na český bankovní sektor. Diplomová práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2024. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení dopadů aktuálních opat- ření na český bankovní sektor. Práce se věnuje zejména vývoji úrokových sazeb a dopadu zavedení daně z neočekávaných zisků. V úvodu práce je popsán teoretický základ bankovních systémů a specifika účetnictví komerčních bank. Následuje teo- retický popis zaměřený na úrokové sazby a také koncept zavedení daně z neočeká- vaných zisků. Vývoj úrokových sazeb je zaměřen na sazby vyhlašované Českou ná- rodní bankou v období od roku 2018 do roku 2023 a jejich vliv na vývoj určitých produktů poskytovaných bankami. Práce se dále zabývá rozborem čistých zisků v návaznosti na nově zavedenou daň z neočekávaných zisků. V závěru práce je pro- veden výpočet daně z neočekávaných zisků za rok 2023 a výpočet odhadu odvodu daně z neočekávaných zisků za rok 2024 za pomocí ekonomického softwaru Gretl.

Vondrová, K. Impact of the current measures on the Czech banking sector. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2024. This thesis focuses on the assessment of the impact of the current measures on the Czech banking sector. In particular, the thesis focuses on the development of interest rates and the impact of the introduction of a windfall profits tax. In the in- troduction of the thesis, the theoretical basis of banking systems and the specifics of accounting of commercial banks are described. This is followed by a theoretical description focusing on interest rates as well as the concept of introducing a wind- fall profits tax. The development of interest rates is focused on the rates an- nounced by the Czech National Bank in the period from 2018 to 2023 and their im- pact on the development of certain pro-ducts provided by banks. The thesis also analyses net profits in relation to the newly introduced windfall profits tax. The thesis concludes with a calculation of the windfall profits tax for 2023 and an esti- mate of the windfall profits tax for 2024 using the economic software Gretl.
