Construction waste from demolition and reconstruction and their utilization

Abstract:

V minulosti byl stavební odpad zpravidla odvážen na skládky, ale vzhledem k jeho velkému objemu to bylo neúnosné. Začalo se proto hledat alternativní řešení, které se začalo výrazně prosazovat až v 80. letech 20. století, kdy sílil tlak na jeho zpracování. Avšak recyklace stavebního odpadu se začaly rozvíjet až v 90. letech 20. století. Stavební odpad vzniká nejen při demolicích a zemních pracích, ale rovněž také při výstavbách a rekonstrukcích. Stále více začíná být spojován s termínem recyklace. Tento druh odpadu lze rozdělit do několika základních skupin, a to na směsný stavební odpad, betonové kry, živičné kry, sklo a dřevo z demolic. Dále sem spadají také zeminy, jako například výkopové zeminy, jíly, břidlice, opuky, písky a podobně, přičemž vše výše zmíněné je možné recyklovat a následně dále využívat. Tato práce má za cíl shrnout možnosti využití stavebních odpadů z demolic a rekonstrukcí. Na konkrétním příkladu skládky stavebního odpadu ve Všebořicích se snaží analyzovat využití a nakládání s tímto druhem odpadu. Dále se práce zaměřuje na recyklace stavebního odpadu pro terénní úpravy a stavby silnic. Závěr práce je pak věnován návrhům na zlepšení recyklací stavebního odpadu.

Abstract:

In the past, construction waste was usually exported to landfill, but due to its large volume it was unbearable. Therefore it began to look for alternative solutions, which it began to strongly promote until in 80s of the 20th century, when pressure on its processing grew stronger. However, the recycling of construction waste began to develop until in the 90 years of the 20th century. Construction waste arises not only at demolitions and earthworks, but likewise at constructions and reconstructions. Increasingly begins to be associated with the term recycling. This type of waste can be divided into several groups, namely at the mixed construction waste, concrete floes, bituminous floes, glass and demolition wood. Furthermore, this also includes the soil, such as excavated soil, clays, slates, marls, sands and the like, all the above listed can be recycled and subsequently further use. This thesis aims to summarize the possibilities of using of construction waste from demolitions and reconstructions. On the specific example of landfill of construction waste in Všebořice trying to analyze the utilization and handling of this type of waste. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the recycling of construction waste for landscaping and road constructions. Conclusion of thesis is then devoted to suggestions for improving the recycling of construction waste.
