The importance of the adaptation process for the new employees

Abstract:

Předmětem dané bakalářské práce byl význam profesní adaptace pro nové pracovníky. Daná práce má teoreticko- empirický charakter. První kapitola práce nabízí ukotvení dané problematiky v profesní andragogice a představuje vybrané pojmy, které s procesem profesní adaptace bezprostředně souvisejí. Druhá kapitola této práce představila personální aspekty procesu profesní adaptace a nastínila také problematiku prvého dne v nové práci. Třetí kapitola dané práce popisuje metodologii výzkumu, který realizovala autorka této práce při její přípravě. Výzkum má kvalitativní design a jeho cílem je nahlédnout na adaptační proces pohledem nových pracovníků. Sběr výzkumných dat byl realizován metodou terénních poznámek výzkumníka, metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a metodou nezúčastněného pozorování. Výzkumná data byla analyzována tematickou analýzou a byla představena narativním způsobem. Interpretace výzkumných dat představila transkripce rozhovorů a témata, která autorka této práce zvolila pro diskusi dat. Daná témata byla v práci diskutována s názory odborníků v dané oblasti a byla doplněna o reflexi výzkumníka. Je zřejmé, že proces profesní adaptace je obecně, pro úspěch firem, nezbytný. Zabraňuje plýtvání zdroji, jako jsou čas, lidský kapitál či peníze. S ohledem na uvedené je vhodné v uvedeném procesu profesní adaptace zohlednit nejrůznější principy andragogické edukace, a to jak na úrovni profesního vzdělávání, tak na úrovni výchovy a profesní či personální péče.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis was the importance of professional adaptation of new workers. The given work has a theoretical-empirical character. The first chapter of the thesis offers an anchoring of the given issue in professional andragogy and presents selected terms that are directly related to the process of professional adaptation. The second chapter of this thesis presented the personnel aspects of the process of professional adaptation and also outlined the issue of the first day in a new job. The third chapter of the thesis describes the methodology of the research, which was carried out by the author of this thesis during its preparation. The research has a qualitative design and its aim is to look at the adaptation process from the point of view of new workers. The collection of research data was realized by the method of field notes of the researcher, the method of semi-structured interviews and the method of non- participant observation. Research data were analyzed using thematic analysis and presented in a narrative manner. The interpretation of the research data presented the transcriptions of the interviews and the topics that the author of this thesis chose for the discussion of the data. The given topics were discussed in the work with the opinions of experts in the given field and were supplemented by the researcher's reflection. It is obvious that the process of professional adaptation is generally necessary for the success of companies. It prevents waste of resources such as time, human capital or money. In view of the above, it is appropriate in the aforementioned process of professional adaptation, take into account the various principles of andragogic education, both at the level of professional education and at the level of upbringing and professional or personnel care.
