Gambling Prevention – Social, Economic, Forensic, Security Aspects

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hazardním hraním, které je rozebráno ze sociálního, ekonomického, kriminalistického a bezpečnostního směru se zaměřením na prevenci a regulaci této problematiky. Cílem práce je poukázat na nebezpečí této závislosti a ukázat čtenáři, jak tento problém ovlivňuje společnost z různých sfér. V bakalářské práci jsou provedeny komparativní a analytické metody, především v oblasti výzkumu, který byl proveden dotazníkovým šetřením mezi občany města Sokolova na téma: Jak vnímají problematiku hazardního hraní občané města Sokolova? V počátečních kapitolách je vysvětlen pojem hazardních her, druhy, legislativa upravující hazard v České republice a také to, jak hazardní hry vznikaly. Dále se práce zabývá zkoumáním hazardu z výše zmíněných směrů, prevencí a regulací. Regulace hazardu je zaměřena především na oblast Karlovarska. Práce vychází z odborné literatury a z internetových zdrojů. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky vzniklé zkoumáním této problematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with gambling, which is analyzed from the social, economic, criminal and security point of view with a focus on the prevention and the regulation of this issue. The aim of the thesis is to point out the dangers of this addiction and show the readers how this problem affects the society from different points. The bachelor thesis examines comparative and analytical methods, especially in the field of research which was demonstrated by a questionnaire survey among the citizens of Sokolov on the topic How do the citizens of Sokolov perceive the issue of gambling? The initial chapters explain the concept of dangerous games, their sorts, the legislation regulating hazard in the Czech Republic and how hazardous games were created. Furthermore, the thesis examines the dangers from the above directions, prevention and regulation. Hazard regulation is focused mainly on the Karlovy Vary region. The thesis is based on professional literature and Internet resources. At the end of the thesis are summarized the results ensuing from this issue.
