The Language of the Youth in Contemporary Social Networks in Terms of the Social Stratification of Slovene

Abstract:

This work is dealing with analysis of the language of the youth in the target group between 20 and 29 years in the terms of social stratification of the language, i.e. the language of different social groups. The emphasis is laid first of all on the research of slangisms and jargon expressions and their division considering various aspects. Special attention will be devoted to the diction of individual speakers on the current social networks like e.g. Facebook, because since the new communication technologies have kept coming, the border between spoken and written language started changing.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá analýzou řeči mladých v cílové skupině od 20 do 29 let z hlediska sociálního rozvrstvení jazyka. Důraz je kladen především na výzkum slangizmů, žargonizmů a jejich rozdělení s ohledem na různé aspekty. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována způsobu vyjadřování jednotlivých mluvčích na soudobých společenských sítích jako je např. Facebook, protože s příchodem těchto nových komunikačních technologií se mění hranice mezi psaným a mluveným jazykem.
