Problems of child soldiers in Africa seen by international community

Abstract:

Práce Problematika dětských vojáků v Africe z pohledu mezinárodního společenství je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních kapitol. První z nich je věnována historii dětských vojáků a ozbrojeným konfliktům, bez nichž by nedošlo k jejich existenci. V závěru této kapitoly jsou uváděny primární důvody a způsoby rekrutování dětských vojáků. Následující část shrnuje nejdůležitější mezinárodní právní dokumenty v souvislosti s lidskými a dětskými právy, včetně některých úmluv a paktů. Další kapitola, v pořadí již třetí, řeší tuto problematiku z antropologické perspektivy. Zde je vymezeno několik termínu a pojmů, které k tomuto tématu neodmyslitelně patří. Poslední kapitola je věnována mezivládním a nevládním organizacím, jež neustále poskytují dětským vojákům z ohrožených oblastí potřebnou pomoc.

Abstract:

This thesis of child soldiers in Africa from the perspective of the international community is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the history of child soldiers and armed conflicts, without them it would not exist. At the end of this chapter are given primary reasons and ways of recruiting child soldiers. The following section summarizes the most important international legal instruments relating to human and children's rights, including some conventions and pacts. Next chapter, the third one, addresses this issue from the anthropological perspective. Here are defined some terms and concepts that describes a topic properly. The last chapter is devoted to intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations that continually provide child soldiers from the affected areas of assistance needed.
