The motive of prohibition in japanese fairytales and myths

This bachelor thesis explores the motif of prohibition in selected fairy tales and myths from Japan and Central Europe. In this thesis I try to define the differences in the depiction of this motif in different cultures, and also to characterize the progression of the motif of prohibition in Japanese stories by using literary analysis and comparison.
