Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá studiem klíčového díla Blaise Pascala – Pojednání o artimetickém trojúhelníku. Toto dílo je jedno z těch, které stojí za vznikem kombinatoriky jakožto samostatné matematické disciplíny. Cílem práce bylo pochopit a předat Pascalovy myšlenky spjaté s aritmetickým trojúhelníkem. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is a study of Blaise Pascal's key work, Treatise on the Arithmetical Triangle. This work is one of those that led to the emergence of combinatorics as an independent mathematical discipline. The aim of the thesis was to understand and convey Pascal's ideas associated with the arithmetical triangle. I have done so by an annotated translation of its original text.
