Analysis of stress situations occuring in penitentional institutions.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována problematice postojů pracovníků v zařízení penitenciární péče se vztahem k problematice zátěžových situací, které se vyskytují v tomto typu zařízení. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na historii trestání s postupným vývojem do dnešního stavu. Dále zde budou uvedeny zákonné předpisy, které upravují systém vězeňství v ČR, včetně předpisů, kterými se řídí práce vychovatelů a speciálních pedagogů. Dále bude věnována pozornost speciálně pedagogickým, andragogickým a sociologickým východiskům, ze kterých výchovná práce v penitenciářích zařízeních v ČR čerpá a ze kterých vychází. Na základě provedeného šetření jsou formulovány návrhy na opatření směřující k provedení rozsáhlejších výzkumných prací, aby bylo možno ověřit, zda postoje respondentů této výzkumné práce odpovídají postojům pracovníků v zařízeních penitenciární péče obecně. Po provedení takovýchto výzkumů a případném potvrzení výzkumem zjištěných výsledků, přijmout taková opatření aby se snížilo riziko dalšího zvyšování rutinnosti přístupu a obav odborných výchovných pracovníků z postojů, zásahů a přístupu nadřízených k jejich práci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with issues concerning attitudes of workers in penitenciary institutions towards problems of stressful real-life situations occuring in these facilities. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the history of punishment with its development to the modern age. Moreover there will be presented enactments modifying system of imprisonment in the Czech Republic, including those directing work of pedagogical staff in prisons. It will also take focus on special education, adragogical and sociological foundations, which form the base for educational work in penitenciary facilities in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the research there are formulated suggestions for arrangements leading to realization more extensive research in order to verify whether the respondents´ attitudes of this study correspond to attitudes in the penitencinary institutions generally. After implentation of these surveys and possible verification of the facts there can be accepted such arrangements to lower the chance of increasing further routine approach and fears of specialized educational workers from approach, interventions and attitude of their superior colleagues towards their work.
