Mixed oxide pigments based on Bi-Ln-Ce

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá studiem směsných oxidických pigmentů na bázi Bi-Ln-Ce, kde Ln jsou prvky Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu a Y. Jednotlivé pigmenty byly připraveny keramickou metodou při teplotách výpalu 800 - 1000 °C. Práškové materiály byly zkoumány z hlediska jejich aplikace do pojivových systémů a vlastností, přičemž předmětem zájmu bylo dále prověřit pigment s barevně nejzajímavějším odstínem. Tato kritéria splňoval pigment s praseodymem, u kterého byla využita také příprava srážením a suspenzním mísením surovin.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the study of mixed oxide pigments based on Bi-Ln-Ce. Component Ln includes elements Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu and Y. The above mentioned pigments were prepared by solid-state reaction synthesis with calcination temperatures 800 - 1000 °C. These pigments were used in organic connective system and they were apllied into ceramic glaze. Then the physical and color properities were explored. The most interesting sample was pigment which contains praseodymium. For this sample was verified other ways of synthesis, namely precipitation and suspension mixing of raw materials.
