Greek Concept of Fate in the Epic of Iliad
Abstract:
Cílem mé práce je jednak stručně představit některé z nejvýraznějších řeckých představ o povaze osudu obecně, jednak lépe pochopit způsob myšlení a jednání několika vybraných hrdinů děje eposu, a pokusit se interpretovat jejich motivy jednání v dané situaci.
Abstract:
The goal of my work is to briefly present some of the most prominent Greek ideas about the nature of fate in general, and to better understand the way of thinking and actions of several selected heroes of the epic, and to try to interpret their motives for action in a given situation.
