E-SHOP FOR BUYING AND SELLING TEXTBOOKS IN LARAVEL

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat požadavky studentů na nákup a prodej učebnic a na základě této analýzy navrhnout a implementovat pilotní verzi e-shopového řešení pro nákup a prodej učebnic a dalších výukových materiálů za použití Laravel frameworku. V první části práce budou zkoumány funkční požadavky studentů Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze a dalších potenciálních uživatelů e-shopu. Dále budou analyzována existující řešení pro realizaci prodeje a nákupu, technologie vhodné pro implementaci e-shopového řešení a stanovení jejich výhod a nevýhod. Následně bude vytvořen návrh e-shopu, a nakonec provedeno zhodnocení potenciální expanze e-shopu na studenty dalších vysokých škol v České republice a případná rizika spojená s realizací e-shopu. Ve druhé části bude obsahovat implementaci pilotní verze podle návrhu z teoretické části za použití Laravel frameworku, HTML, CSS, Javascriptu a databázových technologií. V závěru bude zhodnocen výstup teoretické a praktické části a ověřeno, zda byly splněny všechny stanovené cíle a požadavky.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to analyse the requirements of students for buying and selling textbooks and based on this analysis, to design and implement a pilot version of an e-commerce solution for buying and selling textbooks and other educational materials using the Laravel framework. The first part of the thesis will examine the functional requirements of students at the University of Economics in Prague and other potential users of the e-shop. Furthermore, existing solutions for the implementation of sales and purchases, technologies suitable for the implementation of e-commerce solutions, and the determination of their advantages and disadvantages will be analysed. Subsequently, an e-shop design will be created and finally an evaluation of the potential expansion of the e-shop to students at other universities in the Czech Republic and any risks associated with the implementation of the e-shop will be carried out. The second part will include the implementation of a pilot version according to the design from the theoretical part using the Laravel framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database technologies. In conclusion, the output of the theoretical and practical parts will be evaluated, and it will be verified whether all the set goals and requirements have been met.
