Some methods for solving equations and their systems

Abstract:

Tato práce popisuje různé metody řešení rovnic a jejich soustav, včetně využití výpočetních nástrojů. V úvodu jsou popsány cíle této práce, její význam a ostatní hlavní části. Druhá kapitola "Typy rovnic a základní metody jejich řešení " obsahuje základní pojmy související s řešením rovnic, základní typy rovnic (lineární, vyššího stupně, exponenciální atd.) a základní metody jejich řešení. Třetí kapitola "Soustavy rovnic" popisuje soustavy rovnic, metody jejich řešení (ekvivalentní úpravy, substituční metoda a další). Kapitola obsahuje také základní pojmy týkající se matic a popisuje metody řešení rovnic, které využívají matice (Gaussova metoda, Cramerovo pravidlo a metoda inverzní matice). Čtvrtá kapitola "Používání výpočetních nástrojů k řešení rovnic" popisuje využití počítačových programů Geogebra a Wolfram Mathematica k řešení rovnic a jejich soustav. V části věnované programu Geogebra je popsána i grafická metoda řešení, která dosud nebyla popsána. V této kapitole je zároveň uvedena diskuse o využití těchto programů ve vyučovacím procesu, o jeho výhodách a nevýhodách. Závěr je analýzou této práce.

Abstract:

This thesis describes various methods of solving equations and their systems, including the use of computational tools. The introduction describes the objectives of this work, its significance and other main parts. The second chapter, "Types of equations and basic methods of solving them ", contains the basic terminology related to the solution of equations, the basic types of equations (linear, higher degree, exponential, etc.) and the basic methods of solving them. The third chapter, "Systems of equations", describes systems of equations, methods of solving them (substitution method, equivalent transformations, etc.). The chapter also contains basic concepts related to matrixes and describes methods of solving equations that use matrixes (Gaussian method, Cramer's rule and inverse matrix method). The fourth chapter, "Using Computational Tools to Solve Equations," describes the use of the computer programs Geogebra and Wolfram Mathematica to solve equations and systems of equations. The section on Geogebra also describes the graphical method of solution, which has not been described before. A discussion of the use of these programs in the teaching process, its advantages and disadvantages, is also presented in this chapter. The conclusion is an analysis of this work.
