Evaluation of financial health and its importance for business management

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Vyhodnocení finančního zdraví a jeho význam pro řízení podniku“ se zabývá provedením finanční analýzy společností IKEA Česká republika s.r.o. a Kika Nábytek s.r.o., na základě účetních výkazů za období 2015 až 2019. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních části. V první části práce jsou rozebírána teoretická východiska. Zahrnuje vysvětlení důležitých pojmů, zdrojů dat a metod finanční analýzy. Druhá část je praktická a věnuje se charakteristice analyzovaných společností. V praktické části je provedena finanční analýza dvou společností a jsou interpretováni výsledky provedené analýzy. Dále na základě zjištěných výsledků jsem porovnala finanční situace v daných společnostech a následně navrhovala doporučení pro zlepšení celkového finančního zdraví firem.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis „Evaluation of financial health and its importance for business management“ deals with the financial analysis of IKEA Czech Republic s.r.o. and Kika Nábýtek s.r.o., based on financial statements for the period 2015 to 2019. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first part of the thesis discusses the theoretical base. Includes the explanation of important terms, data sources, and methods of financial analysis. The second part is practical and deals with the characteristics of the analyzed companies. In the practical part, a financial analysis of two companies is performed and the results of the analysis are interpreted. Furthermore, based on the results I compared the financial situation in the companies and then suggested recommendations for improving the overall financial health of companies.
