Comprehensive rehabilitation for physically handicapped people in social settlement

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na osoby s tělesným postižením žijící v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním (tělesným) postižením a komplexní rehabilitaci, týkající se těchto osob, která je jim v zařízeních sociální péče poskytována. Teoretická část se dotýká problematiky dospělých jedinců s tělesným postižením a jejich specifik. Zabývá se vývojem péče o osoby s tělesným postižením, popisuje možnosti sociálních služeb včetně základních činností poskytovaných osobám s tělesným postižením v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením. V poslední řadě rozvádí jednotlivé složky komplexní rehabilitace. Praktická část zjišťuje v rámci komplexní rehabilitace rozsah poskytovaných služeb a jejich míru využívání uživateli služeb s tělesným postižením v pěti domovech pro osoby se zdravotním (tělesným) postižením s bližším zaměřením na Ústav sociální péče pro tělesně postižené v Hrabyni. Šetření probíhá s důrazem na výchovně vzdělávací aktivity. Dále se práce zaměřuje na možné faktory ovlivňující využívání nabízených služeb a zjištění orientovanosti respondentů v systému sociálních služeb

Abstract:

The dissertation is focusing principally on handicapped people who live in home for people with health (physically) disablement. This institutions, as a social services, provide rehabilitation. The theoretical part of this dissertation talks about adults with handicap and its specification. Firstly it describe development of the care for disabled people. Secondly it talks about the social care possibilities together with the basic services provided to disabled in the specific institution. Lastly it provides more deep information about the comprehensive rehabilitation. The practical part focuses on the range of provided services within the comprehensive rehabilitation and on how those services are used by the disabled people. The usage of these services was measured in five specific institution for the disabled people with the closer focus on the Social Service institution in Hrabyně. The investigation was done with the emphasis on the pedagogical and educational activities. Furthermore the dissertation focus on any factors which might influence usage of the offered services and different orientation of the customers
