Cévní mozková příhoda je v neurologii nejčastějším důvodem mortality i invalidity. Jedná se o náhle nebo rychle se rozvíjející ložiskové postižení na podkladě ischémie či destrukce mozkové tkáně krevním výronem. Strokes are most frequent cause of mortality and invalidity in neurology. It is a sudden or fast developing focal cerebral affection based on ischemia or brain tissue destruction caused by haemorrhagia. To reduce the risk of irreversible damage, it is necessary to start rehabilitation together with medical care.
