The Influence of Upbringing on Children from Different Cultures in a Kindergarten Environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vliv výchovy u dětí pocházejících z různých kultur v prostředí mateřské školy. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy a poznatky o dané problematice. Zaměřuje se především na rodinu a její funkce, kulturu a to konkrétně na kulturní rozdíly a kulturní identitu, dále popisuje výchovu, styly výchovy. Závěr teoretické části se zabývá konceptem mateřských škol, jejím cílům a typům. Praktická část se zaměřuje na pochopení specifických rysů různých kultur, jejich výchovných přístupů a toho, jak tyto rysy ovlivňují dítě a jeho chování v prostředí mateřské školy.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the influence of education on children from different cultures in a kindergarten environment. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and knowledge of the issue. It focuses mainly on the family and its functions, culture and specifically on cultural differences and cultural identity, it also describes upbringing, styles of upbringing. The theoretical part concludes with the concept of kindergartens, its goals and types. The practical part focuses on understanding the specific features of different cultures, their educational approaches and how these features affect the child and his/her behaviour in the kindergarten environment.
