Transformation of the Local Government in the Ustecky Region after the Year 1989

Anotace:

Na začátku této práce jsou stručně vysvětlené pojmy, které se vážou k tomuto tématu. Dále se tato práce věnuje transformaci územní samosprávy a dopadům, které tato transformace měla. Práce popisuje současnou podobu krajů a obcí a jedna celá kapitola je věnována financování územní samosprávy. V praktické části je charakterizován Ústecký kraj, jeho historie, socioekonomická analýza a hlavně současná podoba jeho územní samosprávy. Na závěr jsou zpracovány odpovědi na dopisy, které jsem rozesílala několika vybraným obcím v Ústeckém kraji.

Abstract:

At the beginning of this thesis are briefly explained the concepts, which are related to the submitted topic. Further is the thesis focused on the transformation of the local public administration and on the impacts it entailed. The text is describing contemporary status of the regions and municipalities and a wide chapter is considering the financing of local public administration. In the practical part of the work is the characteristics of the Ústí region, its history, socioeconomical analysis and mainly the present status of the local public administration in the region. At the conclusions are compiled the answers from the questionnaire, which was distributed to several municipalities in the Ústí region.
