Specifics of Translating Children's Literature from Finnish to Czech: Issues When Translating via Third Language
Abstract:
Tématem diplomové práce jsou specifika překladu dětské literatury. Pozornost je zaměřena na možné komplikace a odchylky v textu vzniklé při překladu přes třetí jazyk. Teoretická část práce obsahuje přehled dětské literatury a teorie překladu, praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu díla "Školní výlet do vesmíru/Kaikkien aikojen avaruuskirja" finského autora Mauriho Kunnase.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with specifics of translation children's literature. It focuses on possible complications and differences made during the translation via third language. Theoretical part consists of overview of children's literature and translation theory, practical part focuses on analysis of Mauri Kunnas' book "Školní výlet do vesmíru/Kaikkien aikojen avaruuskirja".
