Potraviny jsou v dnešní době plné nejrůznějších chemických látek. Jednak se tyto látky dostanou do potravin způsobem zemědělské produkce, v druhém případě se jedná o aditivní látky přidávané do potravin za účelem zlepšení jejich vlastností a kvality. The food is full of various chemical substances used for several purposes. Some substances are used during cultivating of plants and other are being added into goods to enhance their quality and generally to make food look and taste better.
