Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Textsorte Reiseführer. Sie behandelt die Begriffe Text, Textualitätskriterien und Textsorten. Die Textfunktionen werden im Allgemeinen sowie in Bezug auf die Textsorte Reiseführer vorgestellt. Es werden die Textfunktionen, die Subtextsorten und die Textarchitektur dieser Textsorte definiert.
