The Influence of the European Integration on the Labor Market in the Member States of the EU

Anotace:

V této bakalářské práci se věnuji evropské integraci, její historii a hlavním cílům. Je zde popsán vnitřní trh Evropské unie, se kterým souvisí volný pohyb osob. Dále je v této práci uvedena kapitola o migraci v Evropské unii. Nakonec jsou uvedeny hlavním charakteristiky trhu práce a politiky zaměstnanosti v Evropské unii, statistický popis pracovního trhu v EU, koncept flexicurity (flexicurity je reakce na potřebu zlepšit adaptabilitu pracovníků i firem na trhu práce), podoby aktuálního trhu práce v EU a geografickou mobilitu pracovníků z jednotlivých členských států na jednotném vnitřním trhu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the European integration, its history and its main objectives. The internal market of the European Union, which relates to free movement of persons, is described here. Further in this work there is a chapter on migration in the European Union. Finally, the main characteristics of the labour market and employment policy in the European Union is mentioned together with a statistical description of the labour market in the EU, a flexicurity concept (flexicurity is a response to the need to improve adaptability of workers and firms on the labour market), forms of the current labour market in the EU and the geographical mobility of workers from individual member states on the single internal market.
