Radially symmetric Laplace-type operators with nonlocal boundary conditions and their spectral properties

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá úlohou na vlastní čísla a Fučíkovým spektrem radiálně symetrického Laplaceova operátoru s nelokální (integrální) okrajovou podmínkou. Nejdříve vyšetřujeme tuto úlohu v první dimenzi, poté v druhé a obecně v n-té dimenzi. Mezi hlavní výsledky této práce patří analytické vyjádření první větve Fučíkova spektra v druhé dimenzi, omezení na oblast, ve které Fučíkovo spektrum leží (v obecné dimenzi), a odvození tečen Fučíkova spektra ve vlastních číslech (v obecné dimenzi).

Abstract:

This thesis is devoted to studying of an eigenvalue problem of radially symmetric Laplace operator with a nonlocal (integral) boundary condition. In addition, we are interested in describing the so-called Fučík spectrum of the corresponding problem. First, we deal with our problem in the first dimension, then in higher dimensions (2 and in general n). The main result of our thesis is an analytical description of the first branch of the Fučík spectrum in the second dimension. We also restrict the region where the Fučík spectrum lies and give a description of tangents to Fučík curves in the eigenvalues.
