Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je podat ucelený přehled o franchisingu zejména z právního hlediska s důrazem na praktické dopady a rizika franchisové spolupráce. Teoretická část podává obecnou charakteristiku franchisingu, zabývá se jeho výhodami a nevýhodami a rozebírá nejdůležitější ustanovení franchisové smlouvy. Praktická část se věnuje konkrétním franchisovým systémům, a to americké franchise SUBWAY a české franchise Bageterie Boulevard. Kromě charakteristiky obou těchto systémů se práce zabývá i jejich následnému porovnání.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of franchising especially from the legal point of view with emphasis on practical implications and risks of the franchise cooperation. The theoretical part gives a general description of franchising, advantages and disadvantages and deals with the the most important regulations of a franchise agreement. The practical part is dedicated to two franchising systems, namely to the American franchise SUBWAY and to the Czech franchise Bageterie Boulevard. After the description of both systems a brief comparison of them is made.
