Reconstruction of the pattern of the funeral suit from the grave of Rudolph II. the Habsburg from the Prague castle.

Abstract:

Práce má za cíl vytvoření funkčního střihu pohřebního oděvu Rudolfa II. Zároveň se snaží shrnout dostupné informace o Rudolfově pohřebním oděvu, ostatních součástech jeho pohřební výbavy a okolnostech jeho smrti a pohřbu, stejně jako krátké shrnutí důležitých událostí jeho života. V neposlední řadě je cílem práce i vytvoření metodologie pro další práci podobného charakteru, kterou by autor rád dále navázal.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is to make a functional pattern of the funeral outfit of Rudolf II. the Habsburg. Beside that, the thesis is supposed to gather available information about Rudolf's outfit, other grave goods and circumstances of his death and burial as well as the basic facts about his life and reign. Finally, the next important goal is to set a methodology for future similar work, because author would like to continue in it.
