Family mediation from the perspective of its participants

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem rodinné mediace týkající se rozpadu rodiny. Vzhledem k tomu, že rozvod a následné rodinné uspořádání je stále aktuální téma, je cílem této práce zjistit a popsat zkušenosti účastníků s mediační procesem. Práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zpracovaná do dvou hlavních kapitol, které se zabývají rodinou a mediací. Druhou částí je část praktická, která obsahuje metodologii výzkumného šetření, které bylo provedenou formou kvalitativní výzkumné strategie. Se třemi páry, tedy se šesti respondenty byly realizovány oddělené polostrukturované hloubkové rozhovory. V praktické části jsou popsány nejen teoretická východiska, ale také výzkumný problém, cíl, výzkumné otázky, ale také limity uskutečněného výzkumu. Společně s výsledky je další část věnována analýze a interpretaci dat.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of family mediation concerning the breakdown of the family. Given that divorce and subsequent family organization is still a topical issue, the aim of this work is to find out and describe the participants' experiences with the mediation process. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is elaborated into two main chapters dealing with the family and mediation. The following part of the thesis is practical and contains the methodology of the research survey, which was carried out in the form of a qualitative research strategy. Separate semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with three pairs, that is with six respondents. The practical part describes not only the theoretical background, but also the research problem, goal, research questions, but also the limits of the research. Together with the results, the next part is devoted to the analysis and interpretation of data.
