Value Orientation of Children and Adolescents from Children's Homes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnotovou orientací dětí a dospívajících z dětských domovů. První kapitola teoretické části vymezuje pubescenci a adolescenci s následným vymezením identity, individualizace, socializace a sociálního zrání v těchto dvou období. Druhá kapitola se zabývá teoretickými východisky z oblasti hodnotové orientace a hodnot, včetně funkcí a klasifikace hodnot společně se Schwartzovu koncepcí hodnot. Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na determinanty podílející se na utváření hodnotové orientace, tedy na rodinu, výchovu a ústavní výchovu se zaměřením na dětský domov. Cílem práce je zjistit hodnotovou orientaci dětí a dospívajících z dětských domovů se zaměřením na významné a méně významné hodnoty z hlediska pohlaví, věku a kontaktu jedinců se svými rodiči. V praktické části diplomové práce jsme rámci kvantitativního výzkumu zjišťovali hodnotou orientaci prostřednictvím dotazníku Portrait Value Questionnaire od Schwartze.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the value orientation of children and adolescents from children's homes. The first chapter of the theoretical part defines pubescence and adolescence with the subsequent definition of identity, individualization, socialization, and social maturity in these two periods. The second chapter deals with the theoretical basis of value orientation and values, including functions and classification of values together with Schwartz's concept of values. The last chapter is focused on the determinants involved in the formation of value orientation, that´s the family, education, and institutional education with a focus on the children's home. The aim of the work is to find out the value orientation of children and adolescents from children's homes with a focus on significant and less significant values in terms of gender, age and contact of individuals with their parents. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, we determined the value orientation within the quantitative research using the Portrait Value Questionnaire from Schwartz.
