Oscillatory properties of half-linear differential systems

Abstract:

In this thesis we deal with the oscillation and nonoscillation of scalar half-linear differential systems. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter presents the basic definitions and properties. Especially Riccati's transformation, which plays a key role in the whole thesis. In the second chapter we present oscillation and nonoscillation criteria. Finally, in the third chapter, we classify nonoscillatory solutions and study the conditions under which individual type exists. The text of the thesis is supplemented by examples.

Abstract:

V tejto diplomovej práci sa venujeme oscilatorickosti a neoscilatorickosti skalárnych pololineárnych diferenciálnych systémov. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. V prvej kapitole sú uvedené základné pojmy a vlastnosti. Obzvlášť Riccatiho transformácia, ktorá hrá kľúčovú úlohu v celej práci. V druhej kapitole sa venujeme samotným kritériám oscilatorickosti a neoscilatorickosti. Nakoniec, v tretej kapitole klasifikujeme neoscilatorické riešenia a študujeme podmienky, za akých môžu jednotlivé druhy existovať. Text práce je doplnený ilustračnými príkladmi.
