Phenolic compounds in medicine

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku fenolických látek, jejich účinků na lidský organismus a využití těchto látek v medicíně. Tato práce má formu literární rešerše, která je rozdělena do 4 hlavních kapitol. Práce se zabývá stručným popisem a rozdělením přírodních látek, dále charakteristikou, strukturou a klasifikací látek fenolických. V práci jsou popsány vybrané skupiny fenolických látek z hlediska jejich účinků na lidské zdraví a jejich využití v současné i budoucí medicíně. Dále jsou v této práci popsány některé z metod, jimiž je možné fenolické látky stanovit. Zdroji pro tuto práci byly především odborné články a webové stránky věrohodných organizací.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of phenolics compounds, their effects on the human organism and the use of these compounds in medicine. This work takes the form of literary research, which is divided into 4 main chapters. The work deals with a brief description and classification of natural products, futher the characteristics, structure and classification of phenolic compounds. The work describe selected groups of phenolic compounds in term of their effects on human health and their use in current and future medicine. Futher, some of the methods by which phenolic compounds can be determined are described in this work. The sources for these work were primarily scientific articles and websites of trustworthy organizations.
