Literature and cinematography: contemporary film's adaptations of the classic works of Russian literature

Abstract:

This thesis is concentrated on the mutual relation between literature and cinematography, with the analysis of film adaptations of significant works of Russian classical literature and in the final it deals with the practical use of the film in the teaching of Russian language. The first chapter characterizes the term cinema, his development and solves the question of communication with the adapted literary work. The second chapter is focused on the analysis of specific film adaptations of Russian classical literature. The third chapter focuses on the use of the film in the teaching Russian language, where a particular teaching unit is methodically developed. At the end of the thesis there is a Russian-Czech dictionary of film terms, photos of analyzed film adaptations and a key for the assignment, related to the practical part.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vzájemným vztahem mezi literaturou a kinematografií, analýzou filmových adaptací významných děl ruské klasické literatury a v poslední řadě se věnuje praktickému využití filmu ve výuce ruského jazyka. První kapitola charakterizuje termín kino, jeho vývoj a řeší se zde otázka komunikace s adaptovaným literárním dílem. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na analýzu konkrétních filmových adaptací děl ruské klasické literatury. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na využití filmu ve výuce ruského jazyka, přičemž je zde metodicky rozpracována konkrétní výuková jednotka. Na konci práce se nachází rusko-český slovník filmových termínů, fotografie z analyzovaných filmových adaptací a klíč k zadáním, vztahujících se k praktické části.
