Analysis of the work activities of the social workers in the home for seniors

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Analýza pracovních činností sociálních pracovníků v domovech pro seniory pojednává o pracovní náplni sociálních pracovníků pracujících v sociální službě domov pro seniory. Cílem diplomové práce je analýza pracovních činností vykonávaných sociálními pracovníky v domovech pro seniory. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a výzkumnou. Ve výzkumné části popisujeme konkrétní domov pro seniory, který jsme nazvali "Domov" z důvodu zachování anonymity. Pro účely výzkumu byla zvolena kvalitativní strategie pro lepší uchopení daného tématu. Objektem výzkumu jsou sociální pracovníci pracující v domově pro seniory a předmětem výzkumu jsou jednotlivé pracovní činnosti, které sociální pracovníci vykonávají. Zvolenou metodou výzkumu je případová studie. Sběr dat proběhl za použití techniky polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a studia dokumentů.

Abstract:

The dissertation theses titled the Analysis of Work Activities of the Social Workers in the Home for Seniors with the job content of social workers working in social services at old people's homes. The goal of the thesis is the analysis of work activities performed by social workers at these homes. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and a research part. The research part describes a particular old people's home that we have named "Home" for the reason of anonymity. A qualitative strategy was chosen for the purpose of a better grasp of the given topic. The research object is the social workers working at the old people's home and the subject of research are the individual work activities performed by the social workers. The chosen research method is a case study. The collection of data took place while using the technique of the semi-structured interview and document studies.
