Motivation of employees in a selected company during COVID-19

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice motivace zaměstnanců ve vybraném podniku během pandemie COVID-19. Cílem práce je analýza faktorů motivace a spokojenosti zaměstnanců a následné vytvoření souboru doporučení, který bude mít za následek celkové zefektivnění motivačního systému. Tato práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou na základě odborné literatury vymezeny základní pojmy, které souvisí s pracovní motivací a spokojeností zaměstnanců, také bude definováno vliv pandemie COVID-19 na podnik. Dále je praktická část rozdělena na dvě části. V první části se představuje vybraný podnik a popisuje se jeho současný motivační systém. Druhá praktická část analyzuje spokojenost zaměstnanců s motivačním systémem pomocí dotazníkového šetření. V závěru jsou identifikovány silné a slabé stránky podniku a na jejich základě jsou vymezena opatření a doporučení pro následné zlepšení motivačního systému.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of employee motivation in a selected company during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the work is to analyze the factors of motivation and employee satisfaction and the subsequent creation of a set of recommendations that will result in the overall streamlining of the motivation system. This work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts related to work motivation and employee satisfaction are defined on the basis of professional literature, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the company will also be defined. Furthermore, the practical part is divided into two parts. The first part introduces the selected company and describes its current motivation system. The second practical part analyzes employee satisfaction with the motivation system using a questionnaire survey. In the end, the strengths and weaknesses of the company are identified and on the basis of them measures and recommendations for the subsequent improvement of the motivation system are defined.
