Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na paliativní péči a související pojem Do Not Resuscitate v intenzivní medicíně. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí a to částí teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na seznámení čtenáře s intenzivní péčí, paliativní péčí, přechodem z intenzivní péče na péči paliativní a nakonec je doplněna o souhrn vybraných etických dilemat, které se nacházejí v této oblasti. This thesis is focused on palliative care and related concept Do Not Resuscitate in intensive medical care. This work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses acquainting the reader with intensive care, palliative care, transition from intensive to palliative care and finally is supplemented by a summary of selected ethical dilemmas that are in this area.
